Утром Лера проснулась заболевшей. За день до этого она была на кладбище. Супруг попросил ее убраться на могиле его бабушки. — Я ничего не понимаю! — оторопел Стас — Кто мог это сделать? Родственников не осталось. Все тут лежат.
— Не знаю, как такое могло произойти — поморщилась Лера.

Руки у Валерии нестерпимо болели. Но больше всего она беспокоилась о том, кто заменил памятник у любимой бабушки Стаса.
— Может это галлюцинация или колдовство? — спросила она мужа.
— Сходи к врачу — посоветовал Станислав — А с памятником я сам ничего не понимаю.
В больнице у Леры началась целая эпопея. Хирург назначил уколы в суставы, от которых она отказалась. Рентген ничего не показал, и пациентку направили с рецептом в аптеку, купить мази и обезболивающие препараты. К болям в руках добавилась вялость и пониженное давление. — Вы хозяин кладбища! — всхлипнула тяжелобольная — Прими мой дар! Я не хочу умирать! У меня дети, муж! Забери чужие болезни назад!
Лера зарыдала в голос. Казалось, что все усопшие смотрели на худенькую, несчастную женщину. В мужских глазах на фото промелькнуло сочувствие.
— Деньги забери! — прошелестело в ушах Леры — Иди с Богом! Та, что заказала тебя получит ответный удар.
— Ты чего рыдаешь на чужой могиле? — послышался рядом взволнованный голос Стаса — Пойдем!
Памятник бабушки мужа был прежним. С фотографии смотрела старушка со скорбным выражением лица.
— Ничего себе! — взвизгнул с ужасом Стас.
— Я жить хочу! — снова завыла Валерия — Хозяин, защити меня!

На следующий день Лера проснулась абсолютно здоровой. В голове крутились мысли о вчерашнем дне. Она догадывалась, кто из родственников сотворил зло. Родная сестра мужа, невзлюбившая ее с первой встречи, вскоре заболела и умерла. Верить в случившееся не хотелось.
